Continnental OnePass renewal ?

My Continental OnePass first year no-annual-fee is about to up. I don't fly Continental that much. I'm wondering if it worth renewing at $95. I do have a Sapphire Preferred so I can get Continental miles from the Sapphire. I would get two club passes. How much would they cost otherwise ? And can I take my kids into the club or would I have to pay for them separately?

Any input welcomed.

I can't comment on "if it's worth renewing" because that's up to your individual preferences.  I loved mine this morning when I used the Elite Access benefits to skip the long Monday morning bag drop & general security screening lines at CLE.  The early boarding was nice since it meant I wouldn't have a problem finding space for my carry-on in the overhead.  Regardless, the 1 bag free helps defray the annual fee and is enough for me to renew.  Too bad they're changing it from You+8 to You+1 for free bags.  This calendar year alone, I will end up saving myself, my girlfriend, and a couple of friends about $450 in bag fees by having the card.

Wven if its not worth $85, you should try calling up for retention bonus many dd members report getting significant credit or bonus miles!

You probably can call to have it reopened. But in that case, why would you close it?

After reading some of the replies I'm inclined to keep it. But I would like to see if I could get them to offer me something for it...

I called and mentioned that i use my card frequently and wanted to avoid the annual fee, they offered me 15k CO Points if i spend 3k in 30 days, and i gladly accepted. They did however offer me 10k point without any spending requirements which i declined since i would be spending 3k anyways.

So I called. Was offered 5000 bonus miles to keep it open. And I took it. Hey, 5000 better than 0   It seemed clear to me that if I pushed it I probably could have gotten it to 10 or 15 but I didn't have the head space for it.

Yes, but you can always say that you're calling to see if there are any incentive offers, as you're considering closing the card.
