How much to rent driveway space?

Hey all, figured this would be a good place to get some sound opinions. I have a car in NY with suspended registration for a year. To further complicate the matter, I live in Israel. A friend has offered that I can pay to have the car parked in the end of his driveway for the year. Any thoughts what's a fair price? It's in Far Rockaway. A storage facility can run a couple hundred per month...he's not looking to make a killing off me, just some compensation. What do you say? Thanks in advance

I don't suppose either of you are willing to share your driveway are you? ;-) I wouldn't want some unused car sitting on my property. I feel it is appropriate to pay him

As long as it won't leak, feel free to leave your car in a driveway in any of the following states: CA; FL; TX or TN.

As far as I know, in all states you are able to keep an unregistered car in the driveway. Same difference as a storage facility.
