First time visit to Israel during Purim in March 2024....Mistake?

My wife and I took advantage of a one-way United Sale a few weeks ago and booked flights from TPA-EWR-TLV on March 17 (arrival on 18th) for 75k each person in business class.  It is wonderful that we have a great deal but we don't want to make the mistake of going to Israel for our first trip and finding out that everything is closed during our stay.

Our conceptual itinerary includes 3 nights in TLV, 2-3 nights up North and then another 3 nights in Jerusalem.  We would likely fly back around March 25/26.  We will end up hiring a guide.

Purim is March 23-24, 2024. 

My question for the audience:  Should we skip this great deal and change our dates or proceed as planned?
