Please note that some of these descriptions are brief and may not capture the full cultural or historical significance of the locations. It's always a good idea to research a little more before visiting.

My apologies for missing that part. Let me provide the information:

1. **Outlooks to harei jlm:** This could refer to various points in Jerusalem where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Jerusalem hills (Harei Yerushalayim). Some of these viewpoints are the Haas Promenade (Tayelet), Mount Scopus, and the Mount of Olives.

2. **Motza:** This is a neighborhood on the western edge of Jerusalem. It's known for its old-world charm with stone houses and countryside views. It's a serene place for a stroll.

3. **Beit Zayit (town, reservoir):** Beit Zayit is a moshav, or cooperative agricultural community, located in the Jerusalem hills. Nearby, you can find the Beit Zayit Reservoir, a beautiful spot for picnics and bird-watching.

4. **Sataf:** This site located in the Jerusalem hills is part of the KKL-JNF's efforts to revive traditional agriculture. It's a great place for hiking, with springs, terraces, and stunning views.

5. **Along the light rail/city center: Old Post Office, Kikar Zion, Ben Yehuda:** The Jerusalem Light Rail is a tram line that travels from Pisgat Ze'ev in the north to Mount Herzl in the west. Along the route, you'll pass by several notable locations. The Old Post Office is a historic building, Kikar Zion is a popular square (also known as Zion Square), and Ben Yehuda Street is a pedestrian mall lined with shops, restaurants, and street performers.

6. **Northern Suburbs: Park Pisgat Zev, Yaar Mir, King Hussein's Palace, Kever Shmuel Hanavi, New Stolin, RS 770, outlooks from Ramot and Ramat Shlomo, Mevaseret:** These are all places located in the northern parts of Jerusalem or in the nearby suburb of Mevaseret Zion. They include parks, forests (Yaar Mir), historical and religious sites (Kever Shmuel Hanavi is the Tomb of Prophet Samuel), neighborhoods (Pisgat Zev, Ramot, Ramat Shlomo), and yeshivas (New Stolin, RS 770).

as i wrote

I'm in the proccess of transferring my many handwritten notes on numerous scraps of paper to digital...
here's whats done so far. It's a very early draft, but i'l share it so people can take advantage for summer visits...

I'm still figureing out how to place it. Some areas like binyamin are sunurbs of jlm. do i place ariel and nearby areas as continuation of (suburbs) of the central coast or as a region onto itself?
It's also missing tons of stuff in other regions
It takes a tremendous amount of time, and brain power...

king Hussein's palace has one of the best views, but IMO its in a pretty dangerous area, I wouldn't go back without a gun.

Just found a REALY nice park - huge grassy areas, expansive, extensive and interesting chilrens play areas - A clean sand box!
Its located next to pais arena. (enterance is just to the left of the areana when coming from teddy stadium) I think it may be an extension of park hamesila.
Its like a smaller gan sacher without the overbearing crowds.
Take any bus to malcha that uses begin. (~15 min from CBS vs ~60 on local busses)

Is the park area covered/shaded?

I actually did the Beit Guvrin Dig for a Day.  I’m a Babi, and I was solo.  I loved it, and ended up making the most significant finds of the day😄
If you don’t like closed spaces, and can’t walk down or up a steep, rather dangerous path, in to or out of the cave, it’s not a good choice.  I also did not do the shimmying through the tunnel afterwards.  If you go as a family the kids love that part, but at least one parent must accompany them.  Also, you MUST arrange transportation to AND from the area. No public transportation. And it is remote.

@Euclid Don't know if this is too late. However, I went there during Av bein hazmanim with family. Although the park is technically covered, I found it almost impossible to find anywhere to sit that was also in the shade. Moreover, whenever I found a bench in the shade, the shade was gone in twenty minutes (the sunlight moves). I ended up standing for hours so that I would be in the shade.
(Kids had fun - that's what matters - but I wouldn't go back because there were too many underdressed people for my tastes. Or at least that's the excuse I would use...)

@mevinyavin @Euclid I was there during av bein hazmanim evening hours (7:30-11:30) and didn't have any of these issues.
though, as usual YMMV, and anywhere out of chareidi areas is hit or miss during hachofesh hagadol.

Thanks. I would be willing to try evening.
Of course I understand that it is hit and miss - family was going and I figured I would give it a try.

In middle of putting together a list of OTBP stuff in YoSH. I've decided to roughly divide it by the areas of the regional govts. While I'm doing it (which WILL take time!) I will post in the meantime links for tourist info from the regional govts (which will form a major source for the list, as I've haven't done TONS of touring in these areas).

A note of caution!: These areas can be/are far more dangerous than other regions of Israel. Proceed with caution, and ask locals what is safe especially hiking and springs... Don't assume that the shortest road route between two points is safe.

Binyamin - roughly the area north of route one, south of ariel, east of route six, west of the yishuvim along 90 - includes the north and eastern suburbs of JLM
https://en.gobinyamin.co.il/
https://www.binyaminregion.org.il/visit/

Shomron - The area north of binyamin - includes Ariel, Karnei Shomron, Elkana, Immanuel, (Kfar Tapuach)...
https://www.tourshomron.org.il/en/
https://www.midshomron.org.il/
http://www.ginaplus.org/kshomron.htm

Bikat HaYarden - The yishuvim along 90 and the Alon Road, (east of Binyamin and Shomron) from Beit Shean south to Yericho
https://www.bikathayarden.co.il/

Gush Etzion - The area south of JLM and Beis Lechem. - Includes Efrat, Tekoa, Maale Amos...
https://etziontour.org.il/en/

Har Chevron -the southern part of YoSh - includes Chevron and Kiryat Arba.
