I like having extra freezer room.
I like that it’s an upright, rather than a chest. I can see and access my food.
The price is much better than freezers of a comparable size.
Con:
Any extra appliance takes up room. Mine is in a kitchen corner and looks like another fridge, even though it’s footprint is smaller.
Each shelf can’t fit more than one 9 x 11 pan side by side. So I make a pile of the pans and store other things on the rest of the shelf.
I have it over a year and it’s about time I defrosted it. But I’ve scraped off some ice chunks to delay the job.
