Meaning you might find available close in because the only room type available is 2 queen and when that gets moved up space opens up

Aruba Airport probably has one of the worst preclearance facilities of any airport. I read old reviews of people writing that you have to do everything twice (2x baggage check with baggage reclaim, 2x security, etc) and was sure that by 2023 it would have improved. Well, it hasn't, and you still have to go through almost a dozen steps and lines to get from curb to gate, when flying to the USA.

On the plus side, I do like that the airport has automated passport gates for both entry and exit, the lines there were short on both ends.
