Urgent Question: Connection time FCO (Rome) TLV

Hi All,

Urgent question (not to miss out on current flight bookings) -

Question: Arriving in FCO (from JFK w/ AA) - 7:15 a.m.

Next flight - separate ticket: FCO- TLV w/ ITA - 9:10 a.m.

Is this enough time for the connection (separate ticket & airline, check out, check in)?

Or better go w/ next flight: 10:00 a.m (El Al)?

I prefer less airport time, but want to ensure connection time is sufficient).

Return flight:

TLV-FCO - take off: 6:05 am, landing (fco) 8:45am - el al

or - take off: 4:45am, landing: 7:30

FCO-JFK (aa) 10:30 am

Again prefer less airport time (and later tlv departure), but is connection time efficient?

do you have checked luggage ?

Without checked baggage you technically have enough time with the shorter connections. But you have an enormous risk of delay on the first flight and possibly forfeiting the second one. I would hesitate to even do the longer connection with luggage.
