Thank you!! Do you recommend any other places to eat?

Maple Grill has reopened and should be your first stop. Cafe 41 is an excellent milchig place. And Omnitsky's has great deli but closes quite early.

I ate there this week, definitely open. Same location, website is maplegrillpopup.com with menu, hours, and phone #

And FWIW, Granville Brewery has been closed for the past month due to a worker strike, with no reopening in sight. I was just passing by and wasn't planning to go anyway, but I've seen it discussed here, so thought it's worth mentioning.

Thanks for confirming that!! What did you do so far and on plans? Looking for good ideas. Also forecast for this week doesn't look too promising
Thanks!

How is Vancouver in November? I'm nervous about the rain since most of the sightseeing is outdoors.

Thanks!

How many days is a good amount if going in the summer? Is one week too long?

I wouldn’t go in November.   Expect rain and cold weather.   I went to Vancouver to escape Florida summers for 14 years.  Went from May 1 - last week in September.

We did a week last year including Vancouver Island and Whistler and we didn't cover everything that we wanted to (we also travel slow with a baby and toddler but also couldn't do some things with them)

Do you mind sharing your itinerary? I'll also be traveling with an infant and toddler.

Here you go:

I had in mind at the time to write a full trip report but...
So I'll write just the basic itinerary and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Tuesday night - arrived at hotel

Wednesday
Ferry to Vancouver island
Taxi to butchart gardens

Thursday
Grouse mountain
Lynn canyon suspension bridge
Sunset beach park

Friday
Shabbos shopping
Stanley park

Shabbos
Chabad

Sunday
Drove to Whistler
Main Stops along the way:
Shannon falls
Sea to sky gondola
Brandywine falls

Monday
Whistler / Blackcomb mountains / peak2peak
Joffrey lake

Tuesday
Green lake

We were looking for a beautiful place that is stroller friendly and can be enjoyed with the family. Vancouver really fit the bill!

Thanks DDF, it couldn't have been done without all the info on here!

Staying for one night in Vancouver.  We are going on a cruise ship the next day.  Which hotel would you recommend that is close to a dairy restaurant and shul?
