Membership Rewards to united

Hello everyone,
I have points with Amex and I want to know if there is any way to transfer to united, even by going ahead and transfer to another airline then to united?
If there is anyway to get them over can u please share!?

No way. You can transfer to a *A partner (like AC).

No; you can them use AC miles to travel on UA.

You can theoretically transfer to SPG at 3:1 and then transfer to. UA @ 1.6:1 (in 20k increments), so every 60k MR should get you 12.5k UA. At nearly 5:1 ration you're better off selling your Amex at (the lousy price of) 1cpp and buying UA directly from UA.

If you want to book *A awards, why not transfer to AC or one of the other *A MR partners (as AJK suggested)?

That would vary by airline, check the YQ (fuel surcharges) thread (a sticky in "Up in the Air"), there should be a list there of where AC charges YQ.  Actual taxes should be the same/close everywhere FWIU.
