Basically, Chaikel and AsherO were anointed Global Moderators by the great Dan.
While many of DDF'ers are happy for them, most of them are jealous and would like to be Mods themselves.

What is the difference between a Mod and a regular user? Why are so many DDF'ers jealous?
Well, it is confirmed at this point that becoming a Mod grants you the ability to request from Dan to change the color of your stars and name.

+1, the SMF colors are softer, so the fugly blue we had, and the red you have now look way too bright IMHO.

love the red!! Its similar but a bit diff.  The blue i think is to much on the eyes on this color schemed website. Our (lol) website here is very easy on the eyes and colors flow, but the blue in chaikel and AsherO i think is a bit much

Nice, though it looks a bit drab. I'm not expert on colors, but this SMF theme seems to have bright, soft colors, so we should be looking for colors that fit that description.
