Just reading this thread and I cannot figure out why @Galitzyaner thinks that @cozmohoot is unaware of $2.99 grape juice sales pre-pesach. I mean, @cozmohoot actually mentioned explicitly that he looks for these sales:Is it that @cozmohoot said $3.00 instead of $2.99? Is that what is throwing @Galitzyaner off?

What's with all the @'s? ???

96 oz bottle. Current sales for the 64 oz are cheaper

You need the big glass bottle if you want non mevushal grape juice (like for the seder). Thanks for all the opinions. Helps. I'm calling MB now to see how they compare to Orlanders on the cream malaga, which I just saw he has on sale (same as Tops price).

Not sure they're open Sunday or this early (11:30??). No answer. I'll try later. I live closer to Orlanders.

costco

From what I've seen, they usually have the 96 oz bottles 2/$9 - which comes out to $3 a 64 oz bottle, just in a larger, inconvenient container that's hard to fit in the fridge.

I think some stores may even go to $2.50 a bottle at some point...I'm hoping!

Also the big plastic ones are mixed non-concentrate with concentrate if you see the ingredients. While the big glass ones are pure juice from non-concentrate which is also better for the seder as its not mixed with any water

I think your getting confused with light grape juice. The big bottles have both versions, regular and light

Called MB. A penny cheaper than Orlanders on the sale item. But keep in mind it's a sale by Kedem. They won't quote non sale items. I know the owner. A real nice guy. I think I'll go there.

You're probably referring to the 96 oz., I don't think the 64 oz. lists any concentrate in the ingredients (FWIW).

Nope. I just looked at a 64oz regular grape juice in a plastic bottle and it says it has from concentrate in the ingredients. Its only the glass which does not. Although some plastic bottles say added for taste while others do not. You may be right that there is no added water though and thats only in the light juice

I'll check out Shoprite in Flatbush/BP. My wife is checking Moshes. Paperrific has the big glass bottle for 4.99

Moshes was 3.79. I gave up on Shoprite cause Moshes delivers. I called Shoprite and they don't give prices over the phone. Went to MB and they so nice. I'm gonna get my wine there.

I also just looked at a Kedem plastic 64 oz.  It says "may be sweetened" with GJ concentrate.
What exactly can be the pshat of "may be"?  Does it depend on what the mashgiach ate for breakfast that morning?  Does it depend on how sweet that batch of grapes came out?

Does that really matter for Arba kosos?

BTW, Reb Moshe paskened that one can only use wine for the arba kosos, not grape juice, FYI.

I suggest you use a Moscato/dessert wine.
