I have my plantronics Bluetooth  connected to my win 7 pc, and both the pc and the device show that they are paired, but no sounds comes in or out of the headset?. The volume is up and shows playing on the pc side.
I had that problem with a different BT headset, and spent hours troubleshooting. In the end someone one bleepingcomputer helped me - I had to download updated bluetooth drivers from my laptop's manufacturer's website. Updating from Device Manager did not help.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Yes. If you have that the pro version of Windows 10, there are better options for blocking automatic updates.
Dont have pro version.
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Any good key mapping and analyzing tools?

My star key is for some reason launching the calc.exe, and I have no idea what remapped it

Thanks

How can I close/disable winword.exe? I am trying to install something and I'm getting a message that installation cannot complete before I close winword.exe but I can't find it on the task manger to end the task. Is there any other way of doing it?

I think its Microsoft word
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

It is, but word is closed, and so are all other associated applications and programs. There's nothing the like listed on the task manager either; not even in the background processes.

open the command prompt (press the start button and type
Code: [Select]
cmd to search for it)

Then type
Code: [Select]
taskkill /f /im winword.exe and press enter
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Interesting!

Can you try running it again and seeing what happens?

Running what? The installer, or the cmd prompt?

Try running cmd with admin privileges by right clicking it and choosing "run as administrator".

Tried. It says terminated. Will try the installer again, and I'll report back.

Sure! Cmd has limited access to your computer. When you get an access denied error, the solution almost always is to run it as administrator which gives it full access to your system.

For some reason I have set a program to always open as administrator and now I have to always grant the permission in the dialog box. Is there any way for me to revert that setting that when I double click the shortcut the program opens immediately?
