If your computer or phone is giving you issues:

• Please read this before posting: 4 Reasons Why IT People Ignore Your Requests for Help
• Restart the computer. Hopefully this will take care of any issues
• If your problem has not yet been solved, try to Google it. There may be a very simple solution
• On a Windows computer, a system restore may do the trick.
(This is a work in progress, please feel free to add whatever you may feel is helpful)

Look for a HIPAA Compliant Email but not one that makes the receiver create an account. Any suggestions?

Crucial is a company that makes SSD's.  From the better ones.
Yes, he means a key to activate the acronis program mentioned above.
there are other free alternatives.  i've heard people use http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx and enjoy it
there is also clonezilla, etc

just to make sure .
 i download the Acronis True Image software ,
attach the SSD with a USB adapter to my laptop ,
clone it from the HDD,
 remove the HDD from my laptop ,
install the SSD instaed .
is that all what i have to do ? do i need to change any settings ?  will anything chanage on my laptop ? will i still have to do some work in order my laptop should accept the SSD  as the primary storage place ? what other info/helpful tips do i need/can i use  ?

You may have those issues after attempting to start the computer after replacing hdd with ssd. If that comes up, post here for specific instructions. Generally, you go to bios setup, disable secure boot, and possible set up legacy/csm mode vs uefi
