Update! My package arrived! B'H. There was no information on it from the post office here & finally it scanned as arrived in the destination city and as delivered to the destination address the next day.

Welcome to the USPS world.

I've had that same experience multiple times.

Their system is from 1960s.
sometimes you get a scan when it hits the fulfillment center, sometimes you get a scan when it's delivered, and sometimes you never get a scan.

But good to hear your package was delivered.

Just curious does he ask for payment, or you send the payment on your own.
Meaning did you run after him to pay him?

Also just curious how long is the turnaround time from asking him for a label?

The first few times I sent the payment right away after receiving the label. The most recent label he sent me a reminder after about 24 hours after he sent me the label and I hadn't paid for it. (I was aware of the label, but I was off due to labor day.) his avg turnaround is 24 hours in my experience, even as long as 48 hours once IIRC. Hth

The cheaper one. I'm hoping eBay is smart enough to see it's quick and doesn't mess up my metrics

Any cheaper options for a 25x7x4 package? Weighs 2 pounds 12 oz. Need to ship to La costs around $15 using ebay.

That seems like the right price.

There are guys that can somehow create labels for cheap. I suspect foul play but it is an option.

Fedex shipments work like that on eBay. You only get charged when the label is used. It gets added to the eBay invoice at the end of the month.

It would be helpful for them to add in a disclaimer on the shipping page that it's just an estimate and can change

Update received the label this morning took him about a day.(figured it would come but wasn't sure of the exact time)
This should work the same for a global shipping program sale correct?
Also he slightly messed up my address but not the buyers, is that a problem?

I'm looking for someone who has a fedex shipping account with good rates.

Weight	USPS	UPS	FedEx
13oz and Under	Items under 13oz are usually able to be shipped USPS First Class Mail. By far this is the cheapest option.
Weekly Pickup Cost		UPS charges $22 for weekly pickups - if you are not shipping with your own UPS account (e.g. Amazons account) If you ship with your own account at least $75 weekly then the fee is $11.	It is about the same rates as UPS.
Who Pays When Refusing a package	No one	Shipper	Shipper
Ship to a PO box?	Yes	No	No
