best credit card to use to pay student loans

Hi. Any one have an opinion on the best card (that will give the most number of miles) is to use to pay off student loans?

IME you cant use a cc to pay student loads. You need to link a checking account.

If theres a diff way, please lemme kno!

You probably need to use bb to pay your loans. You can also use citibank thank you points to pay student loans.

Just paid off a Direct Loan using a CC with no fee. In case anyone is still interested... :)

No, I meant that I just called them up (Great Lakes) and was told that as of last Monday the DOE is absorbing credit card costs and I was able to pay it off over the phone with no fee. It gets processed through pay.gov.

I bough up VGC on my ink and payed 8k to Great Lakes via Evolve. But that was two months ago. No more with their monthly limits.... :-( I guess paying it up with a c.c. Is the second best option. Athough you better have the cash handy to pay up the cc...

Yup, was more of an FYI that it can be done directly without fees now.
