Thats what I read in a few places. It has to be signed up by September something and lasts a year

How many spots you need?

framily plans are no longer open to new accounts. You can add lines to existing accounts however

I have a 3 line account on an 8 line framily plan.
I (think) can transfer ownership of the account to you, If you need more slots you can add to the account.

Unfortunately the framily plan has been discontinued. Accounts still on the framily plan can stay that way and can even add lines. However you can't open a new account and join a framily.
What I was offering to do is to transfer my existing framily plan to you. It has 3 lines on it. You can remove 1 without effecting price or you can add up to 2 more if needed.
This process is called a change of ownership see here

Ime it can be on phone but if you didn't just join sprint they may give trouble adding yourself to that framily

I'm on a regular family plan now. I'm out of contract.

I'd like to leave my plan and join an existing fRamily plan. Can I not?

how sprint Framily works: there are up to 10 lines, and you can have more than one line per account.

so, they allow you to join someone's account, but you can't create a new account within sprint framily

Cannot create a NEW Sprint Framily account.

But an EXISTING Sprint Framily account can add additional lines (up to 10).

So, bottom line, I'd be able to join someone else's, right?

that's not how I read it.
i read it to say: you can't even add any new accounts to an existing framily account. only if you already have an account within a framily account can you add lines.
in short, you'll need to be added to someone else's actual account that's within a framily account.

To clarify.
The framily plan isn't an account.The structure of a framily is multiple accounts under one framily umbrella.
I have an account that part of a framily with a couple other accounts totaling 8 lines. I can add 2 more lines to my account. You can't open a new "account" and join my framily.
New accounts opened must choose from the new account options

Read this and tell me how you interpret it.
