Port number out of then back into sprint?
« on: October 08, 2010, 02:01:40 AM »
If I want to transfer a number I already have on a "regular" sprint plan to a referral plan can I do it by porting the number to another carrier then back over to Sprint? (i.e. will they accept a number that had previously been on sprint for a referral plan?)
If yes,
1. What's the best place to port it to temporarily?
2. Is there a minimum amount of time I need to wait before I'm able to port back?
3. Anything else I need to be concerned about?

Go to Tmobile and buy a $10 Pay as U go package. It comes with a cheap phone, port you r number there from Sprint.
Go to Sprint and open whatever plan you want with a new number, wait three days and then call back and say you would like to switch your number to a number you have thats with Tmobile now...
