You certainly can't at Laguardia.  I froze a quart of buttermilk overnight to fly back home with me and it was confiscated by the TSA just this morning.  Grrrr.

My mother-in-law once had a brick of cheese confiscated because - get this - "you could melt down the cheese, and make a liquid out of it." :o

WOW.. Amazing. Whenever I travel with Salami I always get stopped because it supposedly looked like "liquid" when going through the x-ray

I've had yogurts that were solidly frozen taken away. Was wondering if there is an official policy. Based on the few comments, it seems like youre at the mercy of the TSA agent's mood, if they see it.

They allowed Tide detergent pods. We had them seperated in Zip-Lock bags, but they said it was not nescessary. @Yehuda also mentioned them in his TR.

Agent said that if we had more, they wouldnt be allowed. I didnt question his lomdus.
