Serious question--Can you take a frozen liquid through security?
You certainly can't at Laguardia. I froze a quart of buttermilk overnight to fly back home with me and it was confiscated by the TSA just this morning. Grrrr.
My mother-in-law once had a brick of cheese confiscated because - get this - "you could melt down the cheese, and make a liquid out of it."
I've had yogurts that were solidly frozen taken away. Was wondering if there is an official policy. Based on the few comments, it seems like youre at the mercy of the TSA agent's mood, if they see it.
They took away my peanut butter bomb!
A drink water on Spirit usually costs $3. But you can get it free by ordering ice cubes (which is the only free thing on Spirit) and wait for it to melt.
