wouldn't they cancel both out for double name in same flight?

I was booked on the same outbound flight a few weeks ago and UA called me to ask which one I'm taking because the system prompted them to cancel it

Nice, flew SQ25 a few months back and it was a solid flight. I got 2 eastbound Amenity kits for the 2 flights, you will get a westbound Amenity kit.
