Tools Master thread.
« on: December 15, 2014, 11:13:53 AM »
Anyone with experience with Black & Decker 20-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion Drill with 30 Accessories for $49.99 ?
Should I rather pay $40/50 extra and get a Dewalt or this isn't bad?

Well I dunno about this specific item, but as a whole Dewalt is definitely worth another $50 or even more!

Go with Dewalt, Makita, Ridgid, or even Ryobi (inexpensive and versatile tools). Stay away from Black & Decker or Craftsman, go with quality. My dad still uses his Makita tools from the 80s.

Craftsman is great because if you ever have any problem with any Craftsman tool, you can get it repaired or replaced no problem.

They have a lifetime repair or replace warranty on all Craftsman products.

Same with Ridgid. I believe they have a lifetime warranty that they actually follow through with (as opposed to some other brands)
