Someone I know cannot lease a car for whatever reason (not a credit issue) and asked me to lease it for him. I'll get cash for the full lease up front, so I'm not worried about that, but was wondering if anyone had any input with regards to what I might want to think twice about. Any obvious ways this can come back to bite me that I'm missing? This is someone I know and trust, not a random stranger.

In theory even if he (you?) has insurance - if the damage of an accident when he is at fault is greater then his coverage the other party could come after you for the difference.

Good point. I'm looking into this, but I believe he can have his own coverage, and I will be making sure his policy satisfies my worries.

Hence promotional. I know some of these places offer discreet packaging, but not sure about VS. Not exactly my area of expertise.

Checked with a more knowledgeable source, seems all will know where you ordered from. Order used on eBay, it's cheaper and discreet

I live in an apartment building so if the mailman/delivery is not directly in my box some eyes might see it and I don’t want that. With my household I’m fine.

Basically they advertise on their boxes. The same people who know you got a box from Amazon, will know you got this. You might just be better off sending your wife/girlfriend/daughter/designated female to the actual store.
