Seems like alot, did you check the revenue rate?  Its a pretty cheap hotel, usually 100-150.

JW Marriott GIG 2 nights @40k per night, revenue was $300 per night and needed to be in copacabana for shabos.

Great. Counting on you for a report...especially interested in the Club Room/Lounge. Prior reports indicate that there's ample breakfast and enough in the afternoon to make dinner. Wondering what they offer on Shabbat.... Enjoy!

Awesome, though that's a lot of time and moving around in Tokyo.

We spend the first 5 nights in Tokyo, we get in late the first night, and well do at least one day trip from Tokyo, we also will leave earlyish the day of checkout.  Then we venture south, and then fly back in to Tokyo at night for another 2 nights so this is also only an additional day and a half. So really we only have 4 days in Tokyo and one switch in the while we are actually in Tokyo to stay in different parts of the city. From Tokyo we continue on to Singapore for one night and then Maldives for a few nights. 2 Nights of the itinerary will not be on awards so I did not list it here, but we will be one night in Neoshima and one night in Hakone.

Its only expensive specifically that week because of Christmas.
