ditch that! he told me he made a mistake when speaking to the promotions dep.(idk why he didn't want to connect me to them) and the ones pending on 7th will indeed get credit but since the 7th is in a different cycle in amex's calendar than the 8th, so anything posted on the 8th will come in but may take a month to come in. SO RECAP: anything pending on 7th and posted on 8th (or later I guess) WILL get credit.

And charges that posted on the 7th are part of this cycle?

if it posted on the 7th u shud see the credit alredy.if posted on the 8th give it time

Classic case of DROPR. I did like 20 charges on different cards for the same TM tickets and only three credited. All were done on the 7th. How does this fit in with the guys cycle theory? Three did post!

made three purchases from WSJ within an hour of the promo ending and the transaction itself didn't post until the 11th. i still haven't received the credits for them which is unusual seeing as I've gotten most of the other ones within a day or two of the transaction posting. does this mean I'm not gonna get a credit for my WSJ purchases?

It doesn't mean anything as I have tm charges from midday on the 7th that haven't been credited yet so there is no way to know now. If you don't get credited call Amex and they'll probably give it to you

If I just had a couple charges on that date, I would call-- but altogether, I bought 18 Sabon gift cards between all my cards and AU. That would be an awkward conversation. I'll wait for now, see what happens.
