Even more so.
Yup, that's what I'm thinking now.
I can hear that when it comes to software, does it apply to hardware as well?
Agreed. It still will be an amazing piece to show off to friends and stuff. All the cool kids will have it in school, and the windows fan bois will finally have the upper hand lol. Software can be updated...

Ok, fair point about them not bring the same, but still don't know why you'd buy one, especially for the reason you mentioned.
Any reason someone would NEED osx over windows?
If they're building iPhone apps
I have made a few iPhone apps on windows, what's special about osx for apps
How did make iOS apps and Windows? Xcode isn't available for anything other than OsX
I use Smartface
That's an emulator, you're not actually coding in the native language. I didn't do any research, do you get access to all APIs as soon as they come out?
https://www.smartface.io/why-smartface/Native Development, SimplifiedSmartface is the only cross-platform native mobile application development platform with with drag & drop design editor. Design high quality iOS and Android apps with just a few clicks.
Checked one out at a windows store. I wasn't too impressed with the overall quality of the hardware. Didn't feel nearly as solid as a MacBook construction.
+1, I'd wait at least until the next version of it before getting one.
And this thing feels like there are rocks in it compared to the Macbook
What does this mean?
