Hey everyone...sorry to burden you with such a lame request which is prob a slam dunk for most of you.
Mom has a boatload of United Miles expiring next week.
What's best way to extend them these days?

Use 300 miles for a magazine or buy a $5 Amazon GC on the mileageplusx app.

While this might earn you miles, how much time do you have to put into this.

I find a $5 Amazon GC on MileagePlusX the most cost efficient way to accomplish this fast. I don't spend time or money on anything that I don't really need.

While you might be able to convince your Mom do open a credit card, and she might qualify, that would definitely not make it a quick, easy, low-to-no-cost and guaranteed fix (my definition of best) for many people trying to save their mom's miles from expiration.

Thanks for the tips! I did the survey on OpinionMilesClub & got the 300 miles & went back to UAL site & the miles were already posted extended for 18 months! Wow that was fast! But, I think my time is worth more than the seemingly endless questions on that survey site. The 1st survey ended after 5 minutes & they stated we've reached capacity for this survey & then sent me to another one! Thanks everyone. Next time I'll prob buy a $5 GC.
