Any where you can purchase R-22 without a license?
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

I have a thermopump in a three story home, the thermostat is on the main floor not directly next to a duct.

Here are the temperatures I generally get in the summer (relative to thermostat setting)

Main floor <1
Basement <3
Top floor >3

What is the best approach to get the cool air the where it's most needed ? (By day on main floor, less in basement and top and at night on top only)

Pawn shop?
:)
Thanks. I should have known better and checked with my neighbors first. One had a 30lb tank with 18lbs left. Just saved my daughter 200-300.
Home AC is a piece of cake to add freon if you have the gauges.

Zoning. For retrofits, easiest to install would be Arzel.

Thanks for that do you know the average installation cost? I'm wondering if it would make more sense for the long run to install a separate unit for the top floor

Not sure what install cost would be where you live. In Ohio ranges from 400/1500 per zone depending on number of dampers required.

The fuse for my outside unit from central AC starting popping frequently-3 times over the last week. What can that be?

Other than that it seems to be working fine.

It is popping even with the AC off. Does that mean it is most likely the breaker?

Could be. If it is doing it often pull the disconnect outside for the compressor. That will eliminate a lot of things. Do you know where/what the
disconnect is?
ETA: Do you have a fused disconnect box outside or unfused?
