I hadn't spent it yet . Here is the response to me double checking Im getting a total of 80k

Could you PM me what you said in your SM? I just got the 50k offer too and I'm going to try for the 80k offer, I've been with Chase for over 10 years so lets hope they do it.

seems that all email Customer service agents come from pakistan etc.
might be that all those that know english but don't have an appetizing accent are sent to the email customer service.

I sent an SM and they replied saying after I make a purchase on my card to contact them again and they'll award me the bonus points, (I haven't received my card in the mail yet).

So I guess I got them to give it to me?

I had already spent a few dollars by the time i contacted them, so they were able to award me the bonus already vs you haven't hence the need to spend and contact.

Just applied and got pending decision, answer by 10 days. Can I call recons. Now already to discuss the options and try get instant approval or wait till get denied? (most probably will...)

Anybody know if it is hard to get approved for this card? I was reading online somewhere that its difficult. Any truth to that or its just like the rest of the cards?

I don't think it's any harder than any of the other cards. Interest is only 1-2% lower than the other Chase cards, I don't think that makes much of a difference.

I applied and got a Sapphire card last August but closed it in order to open a CO card in January. i then applied for this new offer and got approved. I received my card roughly 5 days ago. What surprised me was how much it changed since last year....when did they make it so weighty? I believe it now has a metal center. They also moved the account number to the back of the card - a nice feature IMO since nobody can see it or snap a cell phone pic when u go to swipe the card.
