does anyone know if with the world mastercard do they cover car insurance in Israel? And if yes what exactly is covered?
it covers collision (except with hertz)
it covers collision but not "mandatory" third party insurance
Which means that all you save is about $2 a day from my experience.Personally I think that AmEx is still the way to go even w/o insurance coverage and the 2% foreign currency charge. Having been messed over by Israeli car rental companies (namely Sixt), it would have been easier to sort it out through AmEx (*wood of course)
