They responded but wouldn't accept the copy of my card. Said they needed to see my statement activity for the last 12 month...

I noticed the match came from caemail@hyatt, although I had the schmooze with gold passport@hyatt (they asked to confirm address, when I did they asked for activity, I sent a pic of my card again and that was it)

What I don't understand is why my upcoming reservation was changed, but only says 'Gold Membership'. (I emailed the hotel stating I'm a Diamond, then got an auto email saying my reservation was changed. The only difference was that it now stated my GP acct #). Online my acct does say Diamond.

Was the upgraded reservation a paid stay,or an award ?

You were Diamond before you made the award reservation? You did not get upgraded on an existing reservation once becoming diamond ? I have a res and want to get the trial and wonder if i can get it upgraded after

If your original res was an award , how did u get the upgrade through GP diamond line, or the Hotel directly ? I called GP and they said UPG are not given on awards .

I have a request in for the Diamond Trial and will find out in a day or two . If I get it , exactly how do I get the upgrade for my award reservation? I have a reservation for a standard queen room, thats all that was available for an award 4 months ago .They dont even offer a standard King Room for an award

I didn't say you'll get an upgraded room. I was talking about upgrading the reservation to reflect your status. For me the benefit was kosher breakfast, you might get a better room

Hyatt challenge lasts for 60 days

If you match with HH Gold you will get Hyatt Diamond regardless of whether or not you apply for the card. Get diamond status before you apply for the Hyatt card because being Diamond gets you two nights in a suite compared to two standard nights for non-Diamonds.
