Biz recon is being a total PIA.  Multiple HUCAs and all complaining about number of new accounts, won't even reduce/close existing biz recon for one new card.  Should I SM or keep HUCAing or both?

I guess my question is should I SM now preemptively, then keep HUCAing?  Or HUCA until I give up and only then SM if I'm still unsuccessful?

Send SM and really try and sell the reason you need the card/s. Try and read around or come up with reasons why you would need multiple business cards...

I gave them a call too today , it seems things changed they don't want to budge.

Is this for a 3bm?

I have plenty of reasons -- agents don't care, just keep saying they want more history, too many new accounts, etc.  My most recent Chase accounts (2 of them) are already ~9 months old...

2 biz + 1 personal.  Personal was instant-declined but approved on first recon call by closing an existing personal card.  Not getting anywhere with the biz cards.

Yes, have a Southwest biz card with 5k line (opened 9 months ago).  App'd for IB and MPE biz, they won't approve either one.

Have you tried transferring CL to get approved?

I think HUCA will also help. Try calling early morning or late at night. The reps at those times can be easier to deal with.

Yep, tried transferring CL, tried closing the card entirely.  Reps won't go for it.

Think there's any potential downside to sending a SM now and then more HUCA?

Tried to recon for a 3rd business card part of a 3bm, told me it was reviewed twice already and their decision is final , they will not open a 3rd card at this time as these cards are reward based cards and I receive a bonus for each card opened, they don't care if I close a card. :( :(

Call them and make the payment over the phone.

It's just online that it doesn't let you make within three days
They did not allow me to make the payment over the phone either. If I call to transfer the line of credit and close the account will they do that with a balance? I would tell them to just process the payment at their leisure?

IME I was able to pay over the phone, but it was near the due date, and I told them that I don't want to pay fees.

Come up with something why you want to pay now.  Why can't you pay in a brick and mortar branch?

not in the mood of shlepping to the bank. Takes way to long.

I just tried again and they let me do the payment from a different bank account  :)
