The S110 is almost as good as the G15 in a smaller body, so it'll probably be a better choice.
Both will only shoot two pictures per second.
A - you're never gonna buy a camera that way
B - If an S110 for $150 is not good enough of a deal for you then you'll never find a "deal".
Wow!! You really know how to answer q's. TY.
I need to figure out which is a great/best camera for me, then what is the best deal I can get on that.
In the meantime
Canon the s110 still be had for $150?
the unadvertised B&H $300 printer rebate deal has the option of adding on certain Canon cameras for another $100 rebate. The G15 is $300 and the S110 is $250 or so, hence the $150 price. Not as good as Adorama's deal a few days ago, but almost.
I wouldn't go another $175 for the Nex 3n now and I think I'd like to stay at the P&S level until I learn a bit more.
I currently have an L200 (which is relatively fine for me except for the macro).
Ok, based on your 'B' response I now understand that $150 is a good overall deal, but are there other cameras that I should be looking at?
