I did that and for chase cards I had to call to have them Re add it.

I haven't kept up with the Softcard business because my phone doesn't support it. My brother-in-law signed up for Softcard, so I added my cards to his account to take advantage of the promo. 

Does the name on the Softcard account need to match the name on the CC to get the gcs? If not, can I create my own account and log into it on his phone? Will those cards be viewed as already added to his account even if I hadn't used them?

When I closed softcard and reopened it and tried to add same chase card it gave me a specific number to call and they were able to get it added to new softcard easily.

This is softcard which tells me to call Chase. No help here

Maybe its a new thing but when you go to add a card and select chase, it lists united as an eligible card.

Oh I thought you wanted softcards number so you can close your account you can probably try the number on the back of your card
