Good info to know and be prepared with the facts before checking in:A few of my family members flew home today from KBP to JFK with PS and they were advised that they can only bring on 1 carry on without any personal bagYou can see their updated terms here: https://www.flyuia.com/ua/en/information/baggage/luggage-terms-and-conditionsThey were wrong in this case for several reasons.1) ticket was purchased before November 20182) The rule is supposed to go in to effect Jan 15, 20193) It's officially only for short haul flightsSo if you are flying this creepy airline be sure to know the regulations to avoid any aggravation
Quick Note: I just noticed that PS 232 is scheduled for 14:25 in July. It know leaves at 00:30. Interesting
Its starting to hit the newshttps://youtu.be/qceTEd-kSVM?t=2050
It was changed to that time for all flights starting from April.PS 231 leaves KBP at 9:30am instead of 11:30am
im glad they shortened my stop over
The flight time is worse. The 00:30 flight made more sense. You could work a full day.It was one of the last flights out of JFK every night. Short security lines. Arrive KBP/TLV in the afternoon/evening.
+ now lost the wide body connection to TLV
When did you become aware of this change?
Maybe for passengers, but not for them. They had an aircraft sitting idle in JFK for 10 hours every day. With the new schedule they need just one aircraft to operate the route. They can use the second 777 for an alternate/new route.Perhaps the same answer. Until today with 2 aircraft on the route, there was enough spare hours to do the TLV route overnight. But now they can use the second 777 for another long-haul flight.
This means there will be lots of delays, and until now there was almost never a delay out of JFK.

The primary concern is their arriving safely....Flight is significantly cheaper than the seminary group flight and their pinching as it is. Assuming the follow instruction and behave on the plane and during stop over, should there be any issue with them flying them?
I'm being asked by a future Seminary girl Mom....3-4 girls flying to Seminary...Most of them first time flying...Comfort not an issue. The primary concern is their arriving safely....Flight is significantly cheaper than the seminary group flight and their pinching as it is. Assuming the follow instruction and behave on the plane and during stop over, should there be any issue with them flying them?
