I was under the impression the ticket had to be booked on the card...
No. I found the answer elsewhere, seems like it does have to be on the reservation at least 7 days before the flight.
Gotcha. So to clarify, the AA number attached to the card needs to be attached to the reservation a week before
Yes
Interesting I wonder if this applies to delta the same way. I booked a flight on my brother's delta card as I don't have one. My sky miles number is on the reservation I guess I'll find out when I fly
It does have to be on the reservation (although you can change it after check in if you want to earn miles with a different partner). Where did you see that it needs to be a week before? First I hear of it.
MMS I think, this is for an avios flight in AA metal.
IIRC I've had flights which I've purchased less than a week in advance and received the benefits. Almost certainly had flights where I added the mileage number less than I week in advance.
If there's a cheap fare available now but I'm not sure if I'm flying yet, at what point can I book on Priceline and Orbitz and still be able to cancel after the weekend?
12:01 AM Friday morning, iinm. Cmiiw.
EST?And then I get till Monday night?Orbitz and priceline the same?
should be but check after booking to be sure
Recently it seemed like Orbitz operated on PST.
I am looking at UA 84 on before Purim in J. It is running about $5000. I think it needs it to go to P class to be more reasonable? Is that likely to happen? The plane is mostly empty now.thanks
