...be conected online 24/6...
first of all, sprint or verizon work in israel? even so itll cost you and arm and a leg (maybe even two legs)
I used my Sprint phone's internet heavily in Israel last August and was never charged a dime.Obviously YMMV though!
what is ymmv mean
That's awesome! Which carrier did you roam on- Pelephone or MIRS?So Dan, you rented a SIM for calls and then used your sprint phone for data? How did you know you wouldn't get charged, or did you just risk it and assumed you could get a credit if need be?
most phones can be tethered to a computer to get internet access.
I believe it roamed on pelephone.I went with 2 of my brothers so we each had a MIRS walkie-talkie to keep tabs on each other.I just had a gut feeling that Sprint wouldn't charge for the data usage and I was right!
what does tether mean and how do you do that
Dan's gut feeling can turn into your $2,500 bill. I wouldn't risk it. Unless you call and have international data roaming blocked on your account, and if it works anyway, you're scott free!
