I just got an new phone and lost my legacy connection to Google Sync via MS Exchange, thereby losing my push email. Google still supports Google Sync with Google Apps accounts, which I have.
Is there a way to associate my personal Gmail account with my Google Apps account and get my push email back?

yes correct just got some bug, it doesn't let you download the database for some reason.
