US programs typically require you to buy rooms from them. No idea what kind of arrangement this is.
has anyone asked if u can just pay for shab meals and how much they will cost?
I just asked and they quoted me 110 euros per adult for dinner.Or 440 euros per night for a couple in room on half board basis

does anyone know if the al maha is offering kosher meals?
In reference to your inquiry on Kosher meals, though we do not have a particular menu we are in the process of establishing some connection and food delivery plan with some approved Kosher food suppliers here in Dubai (Quite a number of Kosher guests already use these). Below is our current meal plan for these particular preferences since we have had the pleasure to host many guests with kosher meals requirements. BREAKFAST:Guest are welcome in the kitchen to light the gas burner fire (if need be), some will ask to crack eggs by themselves too. We will cook eggs and serve with freshly peeled and cut vegetables & fruits (using brand new pans, knives and chopping boards kept specially kept for kosher food). Some guest will bring their own breads, yogurts and cheese due to specific requirements. (A waiver has to be signed for this if own pre-packed food is brought in as per hotel policy). Food can be served in glass or disposable plates, take away containers or regular in-house crockery depending on one’s preference. LUNCH:In most cases guest will go with our regular menu and order Vegan or fish selection without dairy. (If again pre-packed food is your preference then we can reheat and serve) DINNER:Our Vegan Menu options that suitable can be offered or guests can use their own packed food if they bring with them ( usually non veg selection, stored and reheated by us). Dinner can then be served with fruits and Vegetable prepared by us as per afore-mentioned kosher protocols. For all meals we will serve cold and hot beverages. As mentioned above also, All meals are served with either disposable crockery and cutlery if there is strict adherence to the Kosher meal practice or glass crockery kept specifically for Kosher. Unfortunately we don’t have in-house bread, meat or dairy selection dedicated to kosher. You can always reach out to our Executive Chef or myself for further consultations and guidance if need be, for we are at your service. Hope this gives you an idea what our limited capabilities are. Thank you.Should you need any further assistance please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Sounds like most aren't really keeping kosher to the halachic requirements.
