 My view on a statement like Rav Miller's is that whatever happens we are supposed to take a lesson out of it. When a tragedy happens and we say it may have been because of this that or the other thing it is simply to take a lesson from it for personal improvement. It is not to lay fault.

The hate crime makes this different. Other than that, this is the run of the mill school yard fight. We used to have them every Friday.

They all knew what it was, you can hear the chatter in the background. "I don't think this is in the religion". And the adult clearly knew something was up and they must have had a discussion earlier from the way he talks.
