Anyone else missing the Uber credit from March and April? Did something change? Both cards are on the account

My credits posted fine for both months

Apparently the Canadian platinum card still allows two guests into Centurion lounges. It's still in the T&C's online, and DPs online confirm that it still works.

If anyone really needs guest access, try to find a Canadian platinum holder to make you an AU. Platinum AU cards are $175 CAD (130 USD).

(No, I'm not offering AUs.)

I've sometimes not got 35% back for even changing a flight. I have sometimes gotten to keep the 5* points when switching it later to redeeming points, but usually that gets clawed back, too.

never been clawed back, but i didnt get the original points back, only left with statement credit and the 35% rebate

So you cashed out points at 1.55. You can ask for your points back (though they will likely claw back the 35% back.

If I have an Amex Platinum an Biz platinum, when booking flight its always showing my personal card, will I still receive the 35% rebate if both cards are same membership rewards account?

IME, yes. But don't rely on it.

even when booking with points you need to provide a CC. I make sure to provide the biz plat and have always gotten the rebate. (Not sure if it’s required but it works)

Has anybody found a way to consolidate the Saks $50 Credit in a meaningful way?  I read that people were buying $50 gift cards which would allow me to accumulate enough to buy something worthwhile (my wife and I each have amex plat so that would amount to $200 in total).

But when I go to Amex website it states "Not valid on Saks Fifth Avenue Gift Cards or purchases at Saks OFF 5TH Avenue Store locations and saksoff5th.com"

I find that individual purchases of $50 is hard to spend but $200 would be much easier.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

I upgraded my card from gold to platinum and received a bonus. I did so mid last year and the Af was prorated. Now I received a new annual fee for $695. I would like to close the card but I am concerned that because it still with in 12 months of receiving the bonus Amex will claw back the bonus. Is it safe to close? Any advice would be appreciated
No, you need to wait 12 months.
I'm a little confused so just confirming for my situation..
My Gold (opened 2021, have paid 2 $250 annual fees for it, 2022 got a spend/bonus retention). AF is coming a 3rd time with my May 14 statement. I just got a pop up on Amex to upgrade it to Plat for 6/100k. If i take it, what do I need to do to ensure I'm not risking anything. I don't mind paying the $695 once, to get the 100k, 2x$200 incidentals and the benefits etc - but not if I have to pay it twice. Thoughts?

there's much better offers out there for the Platinum...
120 characters? Hmm, I wonder what I could write with 64 characters. Boy, it's gonna be hard to use up 15 characters. W-

Not for 6k spend. 6/100 is much easier than 15/150 (or even 15/160)

There's 6/150 + $200 statement credit on the personal platinum.

Right so that's not really helpful for me b/c Plat is once per lifetime so this is the only way I can get these kinds of bonuses on the personal side plus no credit pull

In your case not. Just you mentioned upgrading from gold to Platinum so I was saying there are better offers if you sign up than if you upgrade.
