Staying in hotel room with infant
« on: August 06, 2012, 12:07:26 AM »
Looking to book a room with my spg gold with a 1 year toddler. Being the fact that I'm gold and suite upgrades are few and far in between I am looking for advice how to work out to stay in a regular room without having to whisper from when we put our daughter to sleep...

We did this recently (with a two year old) with the SPG best rate guarantee free night awards!

They set up a crib and we put it in the hallway and then used a heavy blanket to cover the bars facing the room and part of the top. (Obviously careful not to cover up the whole crib G-d forbid).

We were able to watch a movie without waking her. It worked great!

I'm gonna guess he means the hallway IN the room.
