Question:Can you sell a Jew a plane ticket for shabbos flying?Note: not asking if it's ethical or not, just plain Halacha and source. Thanks!
I've asked that before (not on forum), and its very problematic.I don't understand why if the guy memayle travels shabbos, its an issue, but its still gromo...
Just a bit too cryptic for me to understand, sorry, it's bein hazmanim and my head is not tuned in.

Asked WhyAich's question.I find it should be less than a gromo as he's taking a ticket anyways on shabbes.
Uh... Wait a second what's wrong with flying on shabbos. It's like taking the train...
you are allowed to board a train on shabbos? even if its leaving the techum?
I believe Rashi (Possibly Shitas amoramim) hold there is no issur of tchum if you're moving. There are heterim, and bshas hadchak or hefsed a competent rav should be contacted
How could u if ur causing him to fly
Good point, I was thinking about some flights where in mid air a person would have shabbos (starting and ending while in the air).
and because of many parts of the situation
and hefsed merubah
etc etc. it was permitted to follow though.
i'm not anyones rabbi but wouldn't that have to fall under תרי עברי דנהרא
