My experience with a number of them but around ten years ago was that the proofreading after OCR was almost as tedious as typing
ABBYY FineReader does a great job (try the online version free https://finereaderonline.com/en-us), and with the Dekstop version you can train the program based on your own text. But it is not very cheap.
Is it just a pdf reader or it reads script too, it doesnt say clearly on the website
I found several of them online.Wanted to know if anybody has experiance with any of them?
I would star a new topic but i have same exact question, i need a program to read hebrew script and concert it into text, if anyone has recommendations for such a program it would be very helpful. TIA
by script do you mean handwriting?
the proofreading after OCR was almost as tedious as typing
Sounds like something ai would do well in a few versions from now
Reading =/= writing
