Context and understanding is everything. Nowhere in the Bible does it give him the right to kill gay people unlike the Amalekites.

I understood him as imayid2 seems to be understanding him - that the government should enforce it. Not vigilantism like you're saying.

Perhaps if we're correct it opens up a whole other discussion about christian theocracy in USA which may have been discussed somewhere on DDF before?
