Happy we at least clarified it is there.
Nowhere in the Bible does it give him the right to kill gay people
ignoring as a nation things that are worthy of death is very remiss
He din't say it did.
Context and understanding is everything.
Ahh so you're referencing the abrogation of the law of Moses correct? Not really familiar with it, is it agreed upon by all Christians (all sects)? If yes they all agree it works the same way?
I believe he said the Bible gives him/us the right to kill. You could fact check as I wasted more than enough time on this nutcase!
For-sure. Which is why I'm curious about this:If it is universal then I'd better understand calling him a nutcase.
Best to answer it this way. IMHO it is universally accepted that no person has the right to take another persons life. When you involved the government it is less universal.
He was clearly talking about government, not extrajudicial killings.
I am not so sure about that.
"Scott Esk was campaigning for a different seat in 2013 when he said that according to the Bible, Christians would be “totally in the right” to kill gay people in a Facebook comment thread."
in 1776 male homosexuals in the original 13 colonies wereuniversally subject to the death penalty,
Prior to 1962, sodomy was a felony in every state, punished by a lengthy term of imprisonment and/or hard labor.
Just saying.
What about killing blacks?Just asking.
