“Only” is irrelevant. We need the statistical odds of 2/8 being selected from a pool of 19 (18 really because we can disregard the opening post imo). It’s tilted in your favor but not a wild as your out of context claim tried to portray.

There are 18 posts in that thread. 1 is the OP explaining what it is for, 3 are replies to other comments (including one telling a commenter correctly that his comment belongs elsewhere. This leaves 14 news comments remaining. 6 are by 1 user, 3 by a second user, a 3rd has 2 comments and the remaining 3 are one each. The poster with 6 comments is double as likely to have a random comment on what he wrote than any other poster there.

  Statistics aside, yes you are the most likely to get argued with due to the echo chamber that absolutely exists.

We now have a thread for NO DISCUSSION on the war. There are numerous posts in that thread. Only two posts out of them someone felt the need to comment on. You want to guess who's two post they were?

I agree with you that it does get annoying.

I hope you do realize that often when there is no comment there is actually agreement. Focus on the positive!!!

Also, I think when the ages of members are taken into account, it can explain some. Younger people are usually faster to judge and might not be able to see ANY legitimacy in opposing points of view.

Lastly, as I posted earlier, this is definitely an echo chamber, which makes your input (and hopefully output out of it) all that more welcome! Echo chambers are boring and don't contribute much to deeper thinking and understanding!

They all seem to be cut off. However, at the end, Muir mentions that the full interview will be aired on Nightline. I guess sooner or later that will be available for posting here.
