Using BA miles in AA

If I book a 2 cabin (coach/business) flight in business, using Avios points (on AA) ,is it always triple miles or sometimes double?

i want to book a flight with avios for travel direct from NYC to MIA but there is no availability does AA usually post more availabilities closer to the departure date or what is available now that's what stays?

It can change every day.  Also search after midnight when holds are released.

if the flight doent get full, they ususally open seats a day or 2 b4 the flight.

Hi, just a question for the masters regarding Avios points.

My friend wants to buy 40000 off me because he needs flights to Dallas. I know that the points are only worth about 1:1 in the miles market, but i can still attain a higher value if i save them for flights.

What do you guys think is a fair value to sell them to him. (hope this question doesn't violate any forum rule). If used towards flights, how much, on average, are avios points worth?.

How much is the BA worth to you? How much would your friend spend on his AA?

Flights are starting at $360 or 20,000 points. If I theoretically sold the points to him at 1:1, he would save $160.

Yet I know that if I used the points for flight in the future, I can get a better value for my points. So I am just wondering; on average how much are avios worth if used towards flights? 1.2...1.4?

There's no average. For the specific flight you mentioned the value of 20K Avios would be 1.8, that would vary depending on the flight and how much it costs with money.
Points/miles have a market value as well as a personal value. It's all about figuring out where you fly and on what cabin.
If you often take flights to Argentina than you'd get over 2 cents of value per Avio. If, on the other hand, you don't fly but got the BA card to make a quick buck 1.1 is more than you can expect for.
