I applied for the card over a week ago and haven't heard anything. I expect this to go to recon. I have experience with personal recon but not business. Anything I should be prepared for before calling?

They will most likely ask you a good amount of questions about your business. That's about it.  You can call recon already.

And since I don't have one how do i get through recon?
Is the only way to get a chase business card w/o a real business to get instant approval?

First I asked them for the 60k (I did it over the phone) and he told me he's aware of the 60k offer but that was a 'weekend offer' (new chase concept?) so he could only do the 50k for $5k spend, so I said yes. After spending $5k I'll SM for the 60k.

"If you are a meshugener you can also call to request 50K for spending $5K instead of sending a message to receive 60K for spending $5K and then later on when you spend $5K and the match may be dead already try sending a message to see if they will still offer 60K for spending $5K."

The new IB offer should be called the 85,000 points offer. 60,000 after $1 spent, additional 25,000 after $10,000 spent!
Way better than the old one!
