Does Oriole park have a kosher stand this year?

no they dont. they use to and apparently there was some kind of indecent during a non baseball game so they decided to shut it down which is a real shame.

Do you also go for lunch to school cafeterias?

there is a a unique taste that a boiled hot dog has that those find very appealing. especially when the quality of the hot dog is high, which it was in the old yankee stadium. when they moved the hot dogs were crap! but in more recent years it seems to have gotten better.

Strikly kosher was trash. I'm happy they are out.

PKS is fine.

They went from Stogel to Borenstein...it's still embarrassing that NYC has such poor quality and overpriced kosher food at the games.

I thought it was due to staffing issues? Really a shame, I think that was the original kosher stand in sports?

I have been told they do not.
Should we remove it from the list, or are there still plans to reopen it?

The prices have to be comparable to the non kosher prices.

Quality wise - I think it's because the operation is so big that it gets run by companies that don't do anything else and don't have incentive to be better.

NYC is home to the best kosher restaurants on Earth. It defies logic that the kosher food at the NYC sports stands, with the exception for Legends, is so subpar.

restaurants have competition and a reason to make sure they are at the top of their game. These kosher stands do not

Nope. Boiled hot dogs are quite tasty. Different than grilled/caramelized.

On the contrary, it's your "nostalgia" from bad school lunches that is coloring your opinion.

i agree with that notion. its like i love to play older arcade games even though the new are far and away better!

i always had a love for boiled hot dogs, but again not nasty hot dogs, good high quality ones.

i find grilled or boiled 98% of hot dogs in nyc are garbage.

only good ones that i have tried are at esson, traditions , mr broadway and the stadiums and ballparks.

PKS is better than the red sox vending machine. Let's be real.

They've got Prezels, knish, sausage with peppers and onions, hot prezel, pulled beef sandwiches, plus some prepackaged deli sandwiches.

What's the deal with St Louis? Kohns stand is currently closed but reopening?

Had the 2.0 vending machine food?
Cooked an absoltely perfect A&H dog. Significantly better than the 1.0 vending machine and much better than PKS.
Disclaimer: I had PKS at a Mets game last year and was told it's the same as at Yankee Stadium. The food was all very mediocre.

Ok but PKS has way more options than just hot dogs. The sausage is pretty solid. Pulled beef is good but small.

I wasn't impressed by any of those. Pulled beef tasted watery. Fries were soggy.
Let's see if I can pull up some pics.
