There are several layers, ie changing your profile, will be for the usa market, but going to a different country, they might still have your previous settings in it.

I'm talking about awd changes, and cc on file.

you mustve made the res before you changed the awd on the profile, and the rental still reflected the old one

No, I know what I said, its something I kept on changing (the same change, as I didn't chap why it never reflected in my rentals)

I rented maybe 50x last year.

it just seems odd that nobody had the same experience as you

Oh, you have to hit save? I thought I need to click the back button...

The changes reflected online, but not on the rentals.

I chapped later that once you rent in a certain country, they store you wizard, and not because you update on avis.com that the profile in that country gets updated.

So far that was the only plausible explanation I got.
