I am not seeing it. He doesn't standout on the ice. If they take the names off the jerseys, you wouldn't know which one he is. I guess he needs time to adjust.

He’s already putting up points the rest will come soon. I watched him a bit but also checked out some highlights, he looks legit. Skating is great, great hockey IQ/awareness, shot is very good (copy of Matthews lethal shot), and he’s generating chances multiple times a game, second in the NHL in shots. Didn’t see anything highlight reel yet against NHLers except for preseason but it’ll come soon.

We have seen many skate to head/face injuries. Nothing as horrendous as this. Hopefully it never happens again.

There have been skate injuries to the neck.
They can modify the blades on the skates which would help.

As of now, Jack Hughes leads the league in scoring, Quinn Hughes leads defensemen in scoring, and Luke Hughes is tied for the rookie scoring lead (as a d-man).

There have a been a few nasty scar posts and stories on other forums since this.
On Sunday on the way to the rink we picked up three neck guards for the boys and myself.
Dress for the slide, not the ride.
