Am I late to this?

Truth is that I always thought about taking my wife out for Pizza and ending up in Rome. But the only way that such a surprise, to that extent, is possible is if you can be the second..

To get my wife interested in sitting and watching planes take-off and land will (would) take a tremendous array of perks at whatever lounge we are doing this from. Maybe some refundable BA tickets would be a start

During the Iceland DO our wives actually set one up. Worked out very well, she made some good friends

Haha my wife thinks I'm nuts too. She called me today to ask me (for the 5th time this week) what card she's supposed to be using. And I quote: "Chase has too many blue cards, it's too confusing." But on the other hand, she does enjoy the free vacations

Threaten to make em fly coach. That usually helps their memory to use the right card and go through the mall kick in.

5 years ago Mimi used to giggle at flying J/F saying how as a kid she never understood who the folks up front were.
Now I don't think she would fly long-haul if coach was the only option...

I'd gladly fly coach.

... when it's domestic or the long-haul is something akin to the $300 TLV tickets.

Last time when there was a price mistake to TLV for $400 I booked tickets right away.

....Then I started imagining, 12 hours in stinky economy? Me? And quickly canceled it the next morning after dreaming how I sit next to a fat woman for 12 hours and every time I need the bathroom I hear her saying fuc* him while Im sweating like a rotten pig.

No, I can't see my self sitting in coach. Besides short -haul.

Don't know what to tell you. Twice in as many years I've flown to TLV in the back of the bus, and I never pay for domestic first.
